Diddy Kong is in front of the English manor practicing a new attack to impress Donkey Kong who is coming to visit. He loads an iron spike into his mouth then spits it out at high speed, accidentally breaking one of the manor windows. He calls this attack The Sting, because it feels like a sting when it hits you.
