He has a bunch of wires hooked up to him and he takes his 扌 finger and picks up a miniature 日 sun and 捏 pinches it, sending the energy through his body, into the wires which flow into the plant. The 捏 pinched 日 sun, now extinguished, drops onto the sidewalk in the form of 土 soil.
