He is 尋 seeking a 寸 caliper that he lost earlier that day. He spots it at the top of a 工 cross-beam that spans the sick ward room, and uses his enhanced mental powers to lift it down. The 寸 caliper slowly approaches him, as though it were 尋 seeking him.
