He hangs some 糸 silk on a 木 tree that grows down in the basement, then takes some dirty high school football 爫 cleats and rubs the green grass residue on the 糸 silk, making it 綵 colored silk. He hopes to wear this 綵 colored silk so that he stands out more instead of being his usual ectoplasmic self. Then maybe the other high school kids will like him.
