Link goes over and 賃 rents a 壬 spool of thread that he needs for his quest, it costs one 貝 shellfish per day, which he hands over. 亻 Slenderman gives it to a nurse to hand over to Link, who washes it off in the sink and puts it in his green tunic pocket.
