Unfortunately, he is on the other side of a 邊 border, and blocking the 辶 road is a walking dollhouse with a huge 自 nose mounted on top. It goes up to him and sniffs him, and seems to be OK with him. The walking dollhouse hands him a 方 compass and lets him pass the 邊 border.
