[pu-] Popeye is in the [3] basement of the [-_] house where he is tending his 圃 garden. It's a patch of loose soil on top of the cement floor. It's of course a spinach 圃 garden. He takes a 甫 trellis out of his 口 mouth and sticks it in the 圃 garden to help his spinach grow. Then he grabs some already grown spinach from the 圃 garden and pops it in his 口 mouth to eat. It's strange that anything even grows in this 圃 garden - it being in the dim basement after all.
