Because they just gave him the 扌 finger telling him that elves are stupid. Legolas takes out his weapon and gets ready to 攬 take on anyone who insults his kind. The entire reason he is even in the pawn shop basement is because he just 攬 took on the task of finding some lost elvish goods that he thought were here.
