He reaches for some onion 食 food that is on the coffee table only to discover it has 蝕 corrosion because it is full of 虫 insects that have eaten holes in it, causing it to disintegrate. The next second he discovers that the couch itself is full of 蝕 corrosion too, because it collapses upon itself, sending him to the floor. And the TV turns off at that same minute, because it's internal parts have experienced 蝕 corrosion.
