He grabs a second-hand purse that is there, but before he can leave, a dwarf comes running down an underground 辶 road that feeds into the pawn shop basement. He 譴 denounces Kirby by throwing 言 words of rebuke at him. Kirby, 譴 denounced, simply frowns guiltily, purse still in his hands.
